BOYU Nutrient Chiller for temperature control of Hydroponic nutrient solutions within a growing system.
It is always important to keep an eye on the temperatures of your nutrient solution. If your hydroponic nutrient solution gets too hot, it can breed algae growth and prevent the solution from holding in dissolved oxygen. This will lead to lower crop yields, or worse, destruction of your crop through root disease such as Pythium.
Now with a BOYU nutrient chiller, keeping your hydroponic nutrient solution cool in a hot grow room has never been so easy. You’ll be amazed at how well your garden will do with the correct nutrient solution temperatures. The super-refrigeration process with these chillers can decrease water temperature from 35c-18c rapidly!
Using a pump the BOYU nutrient chiller takes the nutrient solution from the tank, through the chiller unit to cool to the user set temperature, and then returns the nutrient to the tank to recirculate again. This then keeps the nutrient solution at your desired temperature making it ideal for Hydroponic system use (and especially so with R-DWC, DWC and NFT systems) in the summer. BOYU chillers are easy-to-use and feature a strong robust case with contemporary design.

PLEASE NOTE: These Chillers require a water pump such as the Newa Maxi-Jet 1000 for the BOYU L-075 Chiller or the Newa-Jet 2300 for the BOYU L-200 & BOYU L-350. You will also require a few metres of 22mm (19mm id) tubing. You may also require 19mm-13mm Straight Connectors depending on growing system set-up and pump model. The BOYU nutrient chiller uses a microcomputer control system for convenience and has a compressor protection device system built to shut off the circuit automatically to prevent the motor from burning out when overloaded. It has an anti-corrosive pure titanium evaporator for fresh and salt water, emits low noise while maintaining the selected temperature and uses environmentally friendly refrigerant R-134a.
