The Maxibright Dual Spectrum 600w HPS lamp is comparable in efficiency and output to our most popular Dual Spectrum HPS lamps, but at a lower cost!
As an example a general brand name 600watt HPS lamp has a lumen output of around 85-88,000 lumens, whereas the Maxibright 600w Dual Spectrum lamp boasts a 90-92,000 lumen count, or when used in conjunction with a digital ballast; 95,000 lumen count! More lumens = more yield and a higher growth rate.
The Maxibright Dual Spectrum 600w HPS lamp has a higher Red and Blue spectrum output than most brand name HPS lamps, ideal for those using one lamp for both vegative and flowering.
We recommend utilising a Sunmaster Metal Halide lamp for a dedicated lamp for the growth or vegetative phase of plant growth.
Tip: A HID (HPS/Metal Halide/CDM) bulb will drop approx. 30% of its lumen output within 12-14 months of continuous use. We recommend replacing every 3-6months for optimum plant growth and yield output!
