MAKING A PURCHASE

Purchasing is simple... Just browse our site and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the transaction.

At this time, we only sell to customers within the UK and Ireland.

All products on our site are inclusive of 17.5% VAT in the price shown/stated.

All card purchases through Somerset Hydroponics will be shown on your card/bank statement as 'SH Yeovil'.

When placing an order should the product required be out of stock then we will:

• Contact you to ask if you would like the product 'back-ordered' with an approx date of 're-stock'.
• Contact you to ask if you would like a suitable replacement.
• Contact you to offer a full refund on your order including P+P.

Via the website:
We accept credit card payment from the following: Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa Electron, Solo, and JCB Cards.

Via post:
We accept credit/debit card, postal orders and personal cheques payable to Somerset Hydroponics. Personal cheques will have a 3-5 day clearance and then your order will be dispatched.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Delivery Charge

• £10.25 up to 10 kilos Next Day Delivery (Mainland UK) - 49p per kilo thereafter and FREE delivery to mainland UK for orders totalling £350 or more.

* Delivery to Ireland and some parts of Scotland will incur a delivery surcharge on top of the charges stated, as these areas are not mainland UK.
We will contact you with this information before your order is processed, to allow you the option of canceling your order and receiving a full refund immediately. *

Currently we offer a UK only service; all items are insured against damage in transit.

Delivery Schedule:

We will normally process your order within 1-3 days and then dispatch your order on a Next Day delivery service. We will contact you via email/phone to notify you that your order has been dispatched and of the day you should receive your order.

All products shipped to you will be in plain unmarked packaging.

Delivery will only be made to the Card Holders registered address and must be signed for.

If you have a specific delivery requirement then please contact us prior to your order being made so that we may be able to accommodate your needs.

All goods are insured in transit. Should your order arrive damaged, please notify us so that we can deal with the issue, and forward you a replacement. Damaged or missing goods should be signed for on the couriers delivery slip as 'damaged' so where possible please check all goods prior to signing for them.

TAX CHARGES

For orders made from the UK, 17.5% VAT is included in the price of all items.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

GUARANTEE & RETURNS

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase, You will need it should you have a problem, without it we cannot validate your purchase. Please read the terms of the guarantee relating to the items you have bought, ordinarily Somerset Hydroponics will adhere to a 30 day guarantee on faulty items, but please inform us upon delivery or at your soonest convenience to report any breakages or faults. No refund, credit or exchange will be given if it is deemed by Somerset Hydroponics that a product has been damaged or used contrary to the manufacturer's guidelines.

All guarantees are ultimately at the discretion of Somerset Hydroponics.
