A little about us …

Somerset Hydroponics was formed in 1999 but the idea began much earlier when product choices were few and retailers even fewer. At that time we recognised the need for quality Hydroponic and organic gardening products, and more importantly an honest approach to the information to back them up.

Since 1999 we have had a store on the high street which has been staffed by experienced gardeners. We pride ourselves on our proven record to provide quality pre' and after sales service. Our high level of customer service is equalled by our speed of service when you place an order with us. We hope that you soon become part of our happy community of gardeners!

Our store is based in Yeovil, Somerset which is bordered by Devon and Dorset. This puts us right at the heart of the UK’s growing community and with obvious knowledgeable links from our agricultural & horticultural background, you can be sure that gardening of every kind is in our blood!

We have over forty years of growing experience which covers an ever growing range of techniques and plant knowledge. Over the years we have been proud to participate in educational Hydroponic projects and to work with a division of the Royal Horticultural Society. We have advised and instructed small holding farmers on the viability of setting up hydro/organic projects, but we are probably better known for our trusted personal service within the domestic hobby market.

We are proud to be an endorsee and member of the Legalise Cannabis Alliance, which is the UK’s only registered Cannabis political party. We are proud to support the LCA for all the work they do towards legality and just treatment of medical users, and in particular those that suffer from multiple sclerosis and other serious illnesses.
